About

Guitar Care Company is a US Marine Corps veteran- owned business in Prince Georges County, Maryland, dedicated to excellent personal customer service operated by Rev. Kenn Blanchard. I am operating this little business out of my home as well as being a caregiver so I can’t always answer immediately but I won’t leave you hanging.

Service is by appointment only. I am happy to examine your instrument and discuss whatever work it may need.

I offer personalized repair services for guitars (electric and acoustic) and basses.

I started this business because I love people and especially those that play guitar.

Playing an instrument can be very therapeutic. For me, playing my guitar is cathartic.

Music helps me. I’m trying to share this.  Musical people are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. If you are trying to play or have been playing, you’re a musician. Music is one of the most fun and interesting things you’ll ever engage in.

I’ve been playing AT the guitar my whole life.  I wasn’t able to get serious with it until the Pandemic.  It was not just the COVID-19 thing either.  I’m older, my kids are adults and I have time and YouTube I didn’t have before.  You can learn almost anything on YouTube.  A real person is still needed though to help you.

I’ve tried books, records, cassettes, VCR tapes, CDs, DVDs, (I’m old) and actually took lessons from a few really cool people.  It didn’t click till lately.  Now I am fire.  I am living proof you are not too old to do you.

Rev. Kenn “Spoon” Blanchard

You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. – C.S. Lewis

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3: 23-24)
